The key benefits of movement or exercise has been largely marketed as a means for weight loss but research has shown that after 20 weeks of regular exercise, weight loss becomes increasingly difficult.
The marketing around this has been very under-rated.
There is a very powerful connection between the brain and movement. Exercise has proven to help people learn more effectively, increase focus, reduce stress, reduce anxiety and elevate one's mood.
For example, stress causes high levels of cortisol and our body is coded to reduce the level of cortisol if a certain level of movement has been activated. When that movement is not detected, the level of cortisol keeps increasing in our system.

Shared in this talk will be a short story, some shocking statistics and some provocative questions for the audience. Lets make Pillar a place where we treat both our body and mind like a well oiled machine.
